Donate at your mailbox for Stamp Out Hunger food drive on Saturday

Leave nonperishable food at your mailbox on Saturday and help Stamp Out Hunger.

Hey, super savers and coupon clippers, here's your chance to do good with those BOGOs you bag at the grocery store.

Donate nonperishable food items at your mailbox during the 24th Annual National Association of Letter Carriers' Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive on Saturday, May 14.

Postal workers will collect bags and boxes of food left at your mailbox and donate them to local chapters of Feeding AmericaUnited Way and other charities.

Donations may be dropped off at the post office, too. If you forget, you can put food out for the postman on Monday.

Stamp Out Hunger is the largest one-day food drive in America. It has collected more than a billion pounds of food to help feed 48 million people facing hunger in United States and its territories, according to a U.S. Postal Service release.
