Caeser Salad had no croutons and no bread served. Pizza was OK - came out 2 minutes after the salad was served - light on sauce and many spots missing cheese - was cold after 2 minutes - prefer Sal's.

Coal Mine Pizza's first anniversary party was a BLAST!!! What a great evening of food, wine and dancing. Congrats on your first year in business and nomination as one of “Palm Beach’s Top Neighborhood Restaurants”. Your DJ Mark Hoover had the crowd dancing from the first song. Chef "Big Dog's" kitchen team pumped out so many pies, meatballs and wings we could not resist trying them all. Food was incredible, wine was exceptional. Cant wait for the next wine event!

I am still trying to figuire out how my pizza was burnt and soupy at the same time. The place reminds me of a 'Sal's' with a much higher price tag. There are much better places to go, even if they don't have an expensive oven. And our services was horrible, basic questions could not be answered. Sorry, won't be back.

Pizza was great! I liked the many wine selections. I tried it again for lunch. Finally, a place that understands I only have an hour for lunch! Best club sandwich in town.

The pizza was pretty good. I'm not used to the Coal Oven's well-done (burnt) pizzas, but in all fairness, the menu couldn't be any more clear the the pizza WILL come out that way. I enjoyed it though, and would definitely go back to try it again. My only complaint is that the waitress didn't write anything down, and as a result, totally botched our order. However, the manager was more than helpful about the situation. Thanks again!

JeffEats found Coal Mine to be joint which tries to be all things to all people. Either you are a coal oven pizza-wing-salad joint or you are a Southern Italian Restaurant. The kitchen tries is wearing too many hats and the final result is that "nothing" coming out is exceptionally good. Fair food is the best way to describe this joint's stuff.
