Sour cream is not creme fraiche. On the menu, your caviar appetizer should indicate that correctly. I ordered a bottle of white wine, which was presented warm, with our entrees. We sent the food back so that we might have hot food and chilled wine. The food was good but unremarkable.Clearly, you are coasting on your reputation. I have eaten in other Mark's restaurants and have been pleased, but the entire dining experience left a great deal to be desired.

Tried Marks as I had heard a lot about it. We were seated facing the kitchen. Loud and unappealing to look at during dinner. The service was mediocre. A shortage of some of the more popular entrees implies poor planning. There was no ambiance. We were contstantly straining to hear ourselves over the noise. With so many options available on Las Olas, I would think that a restaurant in this price range would provide a better overall experience for its patrons. Will not return or recommend.

Large dinner party for 20 which we set up in advance. They put us at 3 seperate tables, not even next to each other!! The surf and turf filet and lobster was terrible. The filet was tiny and I swear the lobster was a medium sized shrimp. The service was terrible. Will not go there again. Extrememly disappointed.

I had dinner with a group of six on a Saturday night. We were late in arriving, but did call. When we arrived we were professionally greeted and our table was waiting. The service was super, very attentive and wine friendly. Menu was cutting edge. My dover sole was the best I have ever had. We had an anniversary and the Manager, Tom, I think, sent us over a Special dessert platter to die for. we al enjoyed our evening so much and will definately be back. Bravo!

Past reviewers of this restaurant are dead wrong! The food, service and ambiance at this place are all first class. The martinis are good at the comfortable bar, the servers are attentive and polite, and the food is very well executed, with much attention to detail. Our appetizers, main courses and desserts were all excellent! Unlike many SoFla restaurants, I will most definitely be going back!

way way OVERPRICED and the service is HORRENDOUS. You will have more fun and eat better food at alomost ANY other upscale restaurant. The $55 steak was as hard as a puck (i asked for medium rare) when I pointed this out to the server, I was told that this how they prepare medium rare filet mignon's. STINKERRRRRRRRRRRRRR

We have eaten at Marks several times over the years and I have to say that it is not as good as it use to be. The food and srvce. use to be outstanding but lately it has been just okay. I feel that if you charge those prices you need to back it up with GREAT food and service in return. I hate when you walk into a restaurant and the girls that are suppose to be greeting you with a smile are more worried about how they look instead of making you feel welcome.

Compared to years ago, the change is dramatic. Poor service and average food equals a bad night out. Avoid until things get better.
