Max's in Mizner Park was excellent. Had sunset dinner, and all dishes in our party were well enjoyed, especially Salmon and Caribbean spiced Mahi. Had been slipping lately, but is back on their game.

I can't tell you how pleased I was by our experieince on Saturday night. We had a party of six and the entire staff (from our server, Kelly, to the General Manager, Dave) bent over backwards to make sure that our dining was as pleasurable as possible. The food was outstanding, the service was friendly, the staff had an outstanding knowledge of the menu and the wine list, and the atmosphere was lively with out being too loud to have a nice conversation. Just a tremendous place.

I use to love Max's Grill. It has slipped to nothing more than a tourist trap. Too many items are served with black beans because they are cheap and the last steak I had in there was the quality of "super market beef", I guess they thought I would be fooled into thinking the meat actually had flavor if they poured sauce all over it. I'm not easily fooled. "Adios Max"

I really can't write a good review for your place as i never got to eat there. On saturday Aug. 6 I called your place to make a reservation for my father-in-laws birthday. The person I talked to took our name for 6 pm and told to come right over,there would be no problem.We got there to 5:50 and were told it would be a 45 minute wait. If you promise someone and time you should stand by it. I would not recomend your place to my family or friends with the way I was treated

I don't understand how the sawgrass location can possibly do any business! The food was tasteless and the service was the worst I ever had. 15 minutes before we got noticed by our server, another 10 minutes for a drink. Our food came out a little too quick -- seemed like it was already cooked. Layer of skin on the catsup - yuck! I let the manager know I wasn't happy about all this and all he gave me was attitude. BEWARE: DON'T EVER EAT AT MAX'S GRILLE! (I bet it'll be out of business anyway.)
