I have dined many times at Joes for the past several years, I recentlr heard a rumor that it was closing, then the rumor died. I was there recently 3 wks. ago and the resturant was very hot inside we had to be moved outside to enjoy our dinner, were told the air was not working, returned this week, still no air. I am wondering if the rumors are true. The food is always great, but when I pay $34.00 dollars for a steak, I would like tomatoes served with my salad.

OUTSTANDING. Great food, great drinks, impeccable service, super friendly staff, great menu selection, and a great view. This is the best seafood restaurant in Pompano Beach as far as I am concerned. Joes beats Houstons 1000 to 1, in all aspects hands down. We frequent Joes at least once a month. Boat dockage is always available in the evenings.

Definitely one of the few remaining, old reliable restaurants in the area. It is a mom-and-pop style restaurant where the family welcome can be felt as a guest. The food as well as the service has always been exceptional, both coming from a devoted crew. As a customer, my only complaint is that such a restaurant is attatched to such a defunct hotel.

Go there and sit outside an hour before sunset. An excellent combination of a sunset over the intercoastal and a bathtub-sized bowl of a light tomato-based, seafood bouillabaisse. The server, Erin, was very attentive. Will return for the bouillabaisse and enjoy the view with my baby. One negative was the stale, dry rolls that were served with a butter and garlic sauce. If not fresh and high quality, then why bother.

I have dined here numerous times throughout the years. Have never been disappointed. The fish is always fresh,and prepared in numerous creative ways. A nice relaxing atmosphere on the water with good food and service.

We held a company dinner for 15 and everyone was extemely pleased. The service was wonderful, the meals, without exception, were as good as you can get, anywhere. No rushing, excellent view and great price. We will return time and again, Joe, don't change a thing.

The onion soup was perfection , though the clams on the half shell were extremely small for the price. My wifes salmon was done very nicely and was moist and full of flavor. My soupe de pesce had alot of mussels, and what I persume to be sword fish, which was extremely meaty. The lobster half was extremely small as was the the shrimp amount. The soup, was very watery and lacked taste. The service was quite good.Overall, it was good , but not what my wife and I exspected.

From the exuberance and warmth of the hostess, to the attentiveness of the wait staff, it was a great dining evening. Six of us had distinctly different meals and each was a superb. Oh, and it only gets better with dessert. We're hooked. This place is a winner.

I have lived in south florida my entire life and this was the best seafood I have ever had. If you do not like fish, the menu is extensive and has many other options. The service was informative and attentive. We enjoyed the beautiful view of the water and an amazing atmoshpere.I will definitely go back for another wonderful meal.

The bouillabaisse was great--perfectly cooked seafood. I was intimidated by all the shells, so the waiter shelled everything. I was very thankful for the help, and the rest of the service was similarly attentive. The view is beautiful; the prices are reasonable. The only drawback was that we are in our early thirties and we were at least 20 years younger that anyone else in the room. Other than that, we had wonderful food and a great sunset. We will definitely return.
