WOW! What a restaurant!!! Fun, sleek, GREAT food, GREAT service, GREAT wine list. Yes a little expensive, but you can't find another place like this in S. FLA... From the moment we walked in to the time we left, we felt special! The girls a the door, our server and the manager those other people didn't like, well he was as nice as can be, watching everything in the dining room. We will be going back again and again.

This place is by the FAR the biggest insult to anyone whom enjoys food and dining out. I could have had a better meal and dining experience at Denny’s! I have eaten at some of the best restaurants around the world (French Laundry, Alain Ducasse, etc) the prices in particular we far beyond what the food and ingredients are worth. The staff was rude and the food was crude. If I were the owner of Bova I would go to bed every night feeling deceitful for ripping their patrons off!

We ordered the 3 course meal for $39.00 Instead of getting a side dish with our entre which was listed on the menu as roasted potatoes, we were served 3 potato chips. When we pointed it out the manager came over with a small bowl of potatoes AFTER ALL our entres were eaten. He offered to take $3.00 off the price of the bill. The manager was a disgrace. We has two expensive bottles of wine and 6 dinners. We will NEVER go back.No way for an upscale restaurant to do business. No value.Just insulting.

decor was superb, as was the service and the food. the tuscany tasting menu for $25 pp was the best value we have experienced and the singer was also excellent. a great night out and will return often.

Went three times, each time food was outstanding. Pricey but worth it. Amongst the best in S FL.

Arrived at 6:40 pm for drinks at the bar. Band to start at 7:30. At 7:30. we were assured that the band would begin by 8:00. Ordered more drinks: 2 glasses of wine ($10.50 each). After we had started drinking them, the staff told me that he had made a mistake and given (and charged) us for the $12.50 wine. He didn't offer to make any changes. Still no band at 8:45. At 9:10, after sitting for 2 and 1/2 hours with no entertainment, we were bored and left.

The reservasionist laughed at me when I asked to make a reservation a week a head of time. Not A place I care to spend my money. I'll go somewhere that treats me like a person not a dollar sign.

We've been there four times and this will be the last time. The place is lovely, but the food is inconsistent. The halibut had an awful consistency, probably from being overcooked. It was surrounded by haricut verts, swimming in grease. I ordered fish two other times; only one of those times was it good. Another time I had a pasta dish that was lacking in flavor. I've eaten in some of the best restaurants in NYC and this doesn't compare. I like my own cooking better.

Expensive? Yes. Snooty? A bit. That said, combining the finest ingredients, Bova creates some of the most delicious meals I have ever eaten. Interior is gorgeous, service attentive, tastes are out of this world. I highly recommend Bova. Want an entire meal + all the Sweet-n-Low you can steal for $12, look elsewhere. Suggestion to mgmt, BACK OFF on the bottled water hard sell. Sophisticated diners are very capable of ordering it. Those who choose not to, do not need to be made to feel cheap.
