The children who write reviews on line like the ones below are out pf their league and really should just keep going to the fast food places where they have vast knowledge of the venue. We are fond of Old Calypso and have never had the problems of the young complainers. Food is always excellent and managment the most professional in town,

DO NOT GO HERE!Worst experience ever! I had to wait a long time even though I had reservations. Finally I was given a table in a hallway I complained to the manager, and he acted like he wanted to fight me for complaining. I will never go there again, and I will be sure to tell everyone I know about my experience there. They really need to fire that guy! It's funny that I am not the only one complaining about the manager

Absolutely the worst dining experience my family and I have ever had. The manger on duty(Andrew) was non responsive after one of our meals(Ahi Tuna) tasted more like dryed up dog food then seafood. The manager said that it was "policy" that once you taste your food and it tastes like garbage, it is too bad, you tried it no refunds allowed. Eat home or grab a meal from the local food shelter, you will be more than happy you did.

I took my Mom to lunch on Mother's Day there for the first time, the crew was nice. We made a reservation and still had to wait at least 15-20mins. The food was ok it was different to us but good. Nice and friendly place to go to and the site is relly nice, plus there is a "Ben and Jerry's" ice cream place right down the street from there location, it was nice. It was a first experience and will go again.

A must place to go on every trip to Florida. The view...OUTSTANDING. The food...FANTASTIC. The Service...ATTENTIVE. An all around good time and the best seafood establishment in the area by FAR.

Every year when we arrive in Florida , Old Calypso is our first nights dinner. The best fried Calamari I've ever had. The service is good the food is great, the price is reasonable. If your in Del Ray or the surrouding area make this one of your dinner stops, you won't regret it.

Our "go to" restaurant for special occations. The food is wonderful.(the best calamari anywhere!)Seafood is fresh and succulant. The specials are always great and unique. The wine list is quite complete and the staff is friendly. If you can not get a table the bar is awesome and serves meals as well.

The managers were nasty, the service was horrible the food was very dry and the service took so long.I dine out a lot and will never go back!!! I told all my friend never go near this restaurant!!

Don't know if the reveiwers below ever venture out past the McDonalds venue and price structure, but quality is not what they are used to. Old Calypso is a Quality seafood restaurant with a very large Delray Beach following due to it's top of the line food and service.
