One thing you'll be reminded of every step of the way at this deli is that it started out as a bakery back on Long Island. From the challah in the breadbaskets to the rye used in sandwiches, not a single baked good disappoints. That includes the cakes that are mostly sold as takeout. Brisket and corned beef is good at lunch, but at dinnertime, go for the complete dinners that include such favorites as stuffed peppers and cabbage, Romanian skirt steak, fresh baked scrod and roast turkey leg.
