This place is so friendly and the food is great! We had our rehearsal dinner here and danced the night away, The lamb chops were the best and even the vegetarians were deloghted by the food selections. The Greek pastries are homemade and we found Greek wines we had on the island of Mykonos. The owners and staff treat you like family. We would definitely return and recommend this beautiful waterfront gem.

Was there last week and it was horrible. Nothing good to say about this place. Not Fun, Not for kids, and not for dates. Go next store to Shooters.

Hey, we visited Opa in September. It was a week night and we found the atmosphere, the fun and food just to our tastes. The Greek wine was excellent and we had the family style appetizers and meal--magnificent. Their lamb chops are some of the best ever. Love to have some of their recipe`s.

This is possibly the worst place to take a guest or friend in South Florida. They have a $25.00 minimum per person. I have had much better food and service at McDonalds. This place is supposed to be very entertaining. The waiters and waitresses were about as rude as they come. And the manager/Owner was even worse. Stay away from this restaurant if you want to enjoy yourself, and be treated with respect.

My sister had her rehearsal dinner here last weekend and is was fantastic! The food, service, atmosphere on the water were almost like being on a Greek Island. The fire-grilled whole snapper was so fresh I swear they caught it that day. And the lamb chops thye best I've ever had!! The two families who were basically strangers, were best friends by the end of the evening - even dancing the Zorba dance together! What a memorable evening. Wish there was one in St. Louis!

Filthy, poor service..Went there with friends on Vacation. Service was slow and inattentive...Food was not anything special. Tables around us were never cleaned off from earlier customers...Plates just sat there for the 2 hours I was trapped there. Instead of checking on the customers, the owners and staff were too interested in yelling into microphones over and over again, and blasting music so loud you couldn't talk to the person next to you. Very Disappointed and will not go back

This is the best place to party and enjoy good food on the waterfront. The staff entertains and we all went home happy and ready ready to go back again. Great for groups!

We had my wife's 40th birthday here and what a night! The music was great, the food fabulous, and we danced all night. My wife even bought a bellydancing coin belt there to dance like a pro. Our guests have never had so much fun! We will no longer go to overpriced Boca restaurants - the fun and value are here! We felt like we were on Mykonos Island.

You can enter a reservation with their answering machine or online. You are not guaranteed a seat, and you have to give them a credit card number. If everyone doesn’t show or spend $25 on food, they charge you. I sat on the dock once, the sun glared in my eyes. You wait 1/2 hour for a waitress, then another 1/2 for the appetizers. The food is okay; not great for $35-$45 per person. I would not recommend Taverna Opa to anyone. They treat you like you’re an inconvenience to them.
