I was there last weekend and everything was awful.. Ive been to Greece many times and the food does not compare at. I will not come back. The only thing that was nice was watching the boats go by. By the way the servers were rude and the music way to loud.

Try the stuffed snapper, .... fresh and made to order topped with the greatest sauce I have ever tasted, ...My husband had the Shrimp Opa and he has not stopped talking about it, ... he bought me a recipe book, .. what a bommer, no recipe for it. I wrote to Opa in Fort Lauderdale and now I'm waiting for their secrete. Thank you Opa.

And I thought we Latinos knew how to celebrate New Year. Feliz Ano Nuevo. Congrats to the Greeks at Opa ! The Belly Dancing Show was breath-taking, the food indescribable, Somehow these people combined the waterfront ambiance of Table cloth and candle-light with the crazyness of Table Dancing their Greek songs, and the fire dance with the breaking of the plates. What an experience. Ola Opa !

Short and sweet ! Nothing in the US is like this Restaurant. We have been to Greece and all over the world and I can tell you I have never tasted authentic greek food like I did at Opa. The food in Mykonos and Santorini is "Tourist-Trap Food." At Opa I watched the Chef pour his heart into our Stuffed Snapper and it was heaven. The energy, dance, and Belly Dancing Show. What can I tell you ? Congratulations for the best place on earth ! Clarence and 32 of us that celebrated our anniversary.

I had never been to this Opa, but this was where my office wanted their Holiday Party. Boy did we have a GREAT time! Our best party ever!! We ordered the Family Style menu ahead of time so all we had to do whwn we got there was have fun! The location is right on the water and we watched beautiful boats go by all night. The food was awsome - especially the lamb chops. Now we can't wait to bring our families back here.

After we visited the Fort lauderdale Opa for the first time and were amazed at the service, friendliness, and food, I decided to express my appreciation by giving them some kudos in your newspaper. Lo and behold, I read Bill's review and a couple of others that were so brutal, I doubt they were meant for the Fort Lauderdale Opa. Personally I have never been to a restaurant where the owners come personally to your table, treat you like royalty, and make sure that everything was perfect.

I read that this place was just voted "Best Place to Come by Boat". No kidding - from the minute we docked our boat we were treated like royalty. The food was really really good and we will definitely return and recommend this waterfront Taverna to everyone!

The atmosphere at this Taverna Opa is the best! This must be the place to be on a Friday night - it was busy, everyone was dancing, and even the servers had fun entertaining everyone. The Bellydancer was the best I've ever seen. My family returned by boat for dinner on a Sunday and it was pleasant sitting by the water .Our kids enjoyed watching the boats go by.

HORRIBLE. I was there on a first date with a girl that i was trying to impress. I must say that it is gross, nothing is clean in there. There were flies flying over where the food was coming out. It was so bad that i almost turned around and left but the girl i was with convinced me to stay. so we stayed I ordered the seafood combo, it must of been the worst seafood I ever had in my life. The lobster was tasteless. The girl I was with ordered the Snapper I had a bite of it and it was awful.

This place is so friendly and the food is great! We had our rehearsal dinner here and danced the night away, The lamb chops were the best and even the vegetarians were deloghted by the food selections. The Greek pastries are homemade and we found Greek wines we had on the island of Mykonos. The owners and staff treat you like family. We would definitely return and recommend this beautiful waterfront gem.
