One located on A1A, hence the "East City," this chic west-side bistro is run by Darrel Broek and chef Oliver Saucy, the same pair that operates the acclaimed Cafe Maxx in Pompano Beach. The Weston site is every bit as good as Maxx with its excellent wine list, first-rate service and nouveau cooking. The menu merges Floribbean, Asian and European styles and ingredients, as the evidenced by the yellowtail snapper sauteed with sesame rice cakes and Asian vegetables in a citrus-tamari sweet-soy reduction (try saying that fast three times!). Low-carb meals include kobe beef, salmon and grouper.
