The restaurant is actually two rooms, both ornately decorated with hand-painted murals and a medley of art. Once you’re settled into the Provencal ambiance you’ll review a menu that has attracted culinary sophisticates since 1954.
Start your meal with a nearly perfect plate of greens topped with warm shiitake mushrooms and drizzled with a sherry vinaigrette dressing. A fragrant Provencale chicken breast entrée comes covered with rosemary, oregano and sage and is served with zucchini ratatouille. Everything from the meaty short ribs to the lobster fricassee in Sauternes sauce carries that exquisite French bistro flavor.

Hours: 5:30-10:30 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday.
