Our family was looking for some great fried chicken the other night and we found it at Fran's. We must have driven by the place half a dozen times, but never went in. Now, we are hooked. The food is incredible and the people that work there are very nice and helpful. They offer great side dishes...the collard greens are sooo good. The chicken is not greasy and very tasty...cooked perfectly. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Although this joint changed hands about 6 years ago, Fran's still makes some of the best fried chicken in South Florida. This place is an absolute hidden gem. This place does have 2 drawbacks: 1. it is next door to my house and 2. it is not open on Sunday. This is one of JeffEats' favorite places to take food out from.

I was dissapointed. All my temple friends told me it was the best fried chicken in the world- and they know food. I did not see what all the fuss was about. Publix fried chicken is less greasy. Can't vouch for the clams, etc.

Fran's has the best fried chicken. It is fresh (not frozen) and just awesome. Good and hot. You get alot of food for the money too. I am surprised at the other reviews posted. Everyone I know raves about Fran's.

A Boca landmark that's been there forever--can't really call this a restaurant--it's only takeout as far as I know. Surprised at other reviewers remarks. Fried chicken & potato salad are good--nothing remarkable of course but certainly not a KFC. Service is friendly & their fried shrimp isn't bad either for takeout. Not quite sure how they stayed in business all these years but they seem to keeping rolling along...Not quite the bargain it used to be though...
