I don't know what people are complaining about. Whenit was pen, I went there often and NEVER had any problems with food or service. I've done dine in and take out and everything has always been great. I am also not a very easy person to please when it comes to service. Good food, good prices, good service.

If this is the owner of Cami’s, he forgot to bring the recipes.Caesar Salad was vinegary, and the small salad is almost the same size as the dinner side ($4.00 cheaper). For Conch Fritters to Quarterdeck, these tasted like Italian crumb dough ball with chewy things. Our 6 yr old tried Mac and Chz, and only tried it, he would not eat it. Fried Seafood platter didn’t get much better. Best put by the kid was when the waitress asked if we wanted to box up the leftovers, "No this was Nasty!"

We go between 1-2 time a week and have sit in the dinning room. The food does take a while to get to you, when the place is full. We have sit at the bar now ( not for everyone ) and the service is alot better. Suzanne and Rachel are the two best bar maids. We do go for the special only on the week-day, as they are a great value and stay away from the main menu.

I took my mother there last night for her 92nd birthday. We had to wait over two hours for our meal. Someone came over to the table(manager-I assume) and said that our order was held up in the system,(I assume this meant the waiter didnt turn in the order)I told them this was a problem since it was her 92 and she couldnt stay too long. At the end of the meal they didnt even offer a piece of cake or a discount or anything.

As a frequent customer, I agree that the service can be unpredictable at best, we waited for our meals for nearly an hour after ordering on the worst night. Our waitress (Rhonda?) was apologetic though and kept our drinks filled, and when the crab arrived, all was forgiven. It's hard to complain about a place that serves a nice portion of steamed crab for $10 (unless your gripe is that it's a Wednesday-night-only special.)

Sometimes 3xs a week my boss takes us here for lunch.Two of us wanted to go to see if its as good on Saturday.We requested to sit outside and were told No they have only 4 servers and none of them wanted to wait on us outside!There was a table of 5 already out there eating so we were shocked. I asked to see the manager but changed my mind thinking that if they were so unaccommodating that the server may do something to our food.We left.So this is why its called Grumpys.

I eat at Grumpys sometimes 3 times a week.Kim is the best waitress. She is on top of things making sure everything you need you have. She remembers what you had last time you were in and if you want it again. The shrimp is always fresh, the salad looks and tastes like it was just picked. Its not as bad as some of the reviews state. Maybe next time you give it a try sit in Kims section.

i dont know what grumpy dicks u ate at. i love it there the food is great especially the shrimp alfreado and the sushi is always freash and spectacular.

we read the reviews and we decided to try anyway. I am sorry to say, but the poor service is very poor and slow. it took 25 minutes to get food and requests for silverware, water and the check took ten minutes each to get done. Go anywhere else.
