As a bi-monthly patron of this great establishment, I recently had my first "not so pleasant" experience. Last Saturday night I had reservations for a party of 5 at 830pm. These were made 10 days in advcance and they called TWICE that day to confirm. We got there at 840 and our table wasnt ready! They told me there was a HALF HOUR window! After the manager accepted a $20 SEAT US NEXT gift we were promptly seated at 915! In spite of that, the food , service and bill were EXTRODINARY.

Great spot, Johnny always does somthing to suprise me. Great service, and managment. A delight to take a date too to show off. Its packed almost all days but i find mondays and tuesdays perfect for me on my days off.You must try the Carrot Cake, now this is something to RAVE ABOUT. I don't know how the do it but thank god Las Olas has a Johnny V. I'm going to his South Beach Restaurant next week, hear it's also wonderful.

I have eaten at basically every restaurant on Las Olas and Johnny V's is one of the best! When I went last week, everything "from soup to nuts" was excellent! Heavenly wine and the best calamari in town set the bar high for a meal that remained superb all the way through the mile-high chocolate cake. I can't wait to go back!

I ate at Johnny V last week with my wife. Our waiter Matthew recommended a bottle of Flowers wine. We enjoyed it to the last drop. The cheese platter was excellent and the lamb very tasty. We finished with a cayenne sorbet that went against our natural instinct, but was the best sorbet I've ever tasted! Overall service: excellent. Food: unique and delicious. We will be back for our anniversary!!!

We ate at Johnny V's last week for my wife's B-Day and had a great time and meal. The mushroom pancake we had was very creative and quite good. The service was a little slow to get to started but after that the server took care of all of our needs. We will be back.

We ate there on Sat 27th. and had a wonderful dinner. We had the calamari which was the best I had ever had. The Jerk Tuna and Pea and Carrot Soup was very good also. I had the wagu Ribeye steak and I was amazed at the flavor. My wife had the Corn Snapper and she loved it. Also our friends both had Filets that they enjoyed them also. We also had a Key lime pie the was great. Overall we couldn't of had a better meal. We have been there a few times and we will be back.

What a disappointment! Had lunch there today. The Grilled Beet Salad had so much balsamic vinegar on it, it choked us and was returned without comment and on to the next course. The Jamaican Jerk Tuna Salad tasted off. Bad cut of tuna and no flavor in the jerk spices. Legal Seafood makes a far better seared tuna salad. The bread that came with lunch was a joke, some sort of baked bread crisps. The staff was surly and indifferent and the bill was exorbitant. Won't be rushing back to this joint.

Since I was a Johnny V fan from SoBe to Boca to Delray, imagine my disappointment having to return an inedible beet salad drenched and wilted with vinegar, making due with the not-so sensational corn-crusted calamari, indifferent wait staff reluctant to turn down the lunch time hypno-trance music, and when asked for bread, received what tasted like boxed melba toast rounds. Will not return, instead leave this spot to the swells & gourmands to relish.

Food was outstanding, but beware, we were a party of four and had a 20% gratuity tacked on to the bill that we noticed later and ended up tipping double. Check your bill!
