My Parents have lived in Delray for 13 yrs now by way of NY & we all luv Doc's. Everytime I come 2 visit, the 1st stop is always Doc's. This is a Burger Joint, so expect burgers, shakes, & a young staff of High School & College Kids. The Gyro can be a little inconsistent,but the burgers R always hot, big, & messy :-) The Dogs have always been plump w/that casing snap noise U expect from a good red hot. If you want a casual bite & a place 2 chill 4 a few, then Doc's is a smart stop to make.

how can this dive rate a two star, when the last four reviews have rated them a one. I am sure if there was a lower rating this place would qualify.

Our family has been to Docs twice. The first time we ordered was okay and not great because the burgers were burned. One thing that was notable the second time is that we arrived 15 minutes until closing and approached the window to see the person at the window on his cell phone. He put the cell phone down to say, "We're closed." We asked him, "What time do you close?" He said, "Well, normally we're open a little later, but we didn't have enough people so we shut down the grill."

If you want the absolute worst hamburger or hotdog in South Florida, you'll feel right at home. Rude staff, lousy food - what more could you want? Nasty place - to be avoided at all costs. McDonalds blows them away. Don't waste your time.

Everyone should go there once, just for the knowledge to avoid a return trip. The food is fair to poor (hot dog with chili) and the presentation terrible. Cheap though for Delray.

Docs is an awesome place to relax,unwind ,and to enjoy a big bite into one of the best juiceiest hamburgers around.."Mouth watering".Grab an ice cold soda and crispy,not greasy french fries.A great place to mingle with some of the locals,or even tourist.A nice place to hang out.Than of course a long stroll down Atlantic Avenue.
