The Miami Museum of Science is dedicated to helping people understand the wonders that science has revealed, and it also serves as a catalyst for continued science exploration by providing science education in a stimulating, enjoyable, non-threatening environment. The exhibits on display at the Museum change frequently, so make sure you visit its Web site to check the museum calendar and the latest exhibit list before you go. Also, don't miss the planetarium show -- it's like taking a journey into space, and it'll change the way you think about the stars and planets. (January 26, 2005)

Hours: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, open late the first Friday of every month.
