The first time I took my kids here they were less than one year old. They are now 12 1/2 and we are going again today. It is the best, not too big to enjoy and see everything. Nice and shady walk ways, very nice habitats for the animals, and perfect for a day out as a family. We love it, and go back every year.

The Palm Beach Zoo is a fantastic experience. I visit the zoo 10-15 times per year. I am always amazed at how happy, healthy and lively the animals are. The education shows are delightful. I am so happy to learn of all the animal breeeding programs and conservation efforts that go on that most people are totally unaware of. The landscaping is impeccable, the Zoo Cafe is cool and refreshing. It is a thoroughly enjoyable getaway from the city. Kudos to the staff.

Took daughter and grandson recently...had to park 1 mile away and walk back, price of entry was moderate to high, long line to enter, longer lines to get drinks from snack bar (take MONEY here), to top it all off, MOST animals were either ALL BALLED UP ASLEEP or HIDDEN FROM VIEW behind native grasses or rocks! We were thoroughly disappointed, broke, and won't go back.

HURRICANE WILMA (Nov 05) Zoo under repair Call before going (561-533-0887). Highlight of visits with my grandchildren. This is a South Florida Treasure. Small enough to "see it all" and Big Enough for wonderful memories. Bring kids bathing suits / towel (changing cabanas there) You can rest on park benches - kids frolic in water play fountains. Animals seem comfortable. You are close enough to see it all. Nice a/c restaurant. "Hurry back Palm Beach Zoo, Hurry back" ! Signed, a Fan

I had a great time playing in the water fountains at the zoo. Some of the animals were hard for me to see. I really like the new black bears.

The Palm Beach Zoo was the greatest zoo that I have ever been too. My favorite part was the monkeys swinging from branch to branch. My family had such a great time! They also have a great gifshop for the kids! It was a great day for the whole family! A lot of laughs!!

Made my first visit ever to this zoo with my three-year old son over the holidays. It is an outstanding outing for children of all ages. Plenty to see and do without being too big.

THE PALM BEACH ZOO IS THE GREATEST. I LOOK FORWARD TO GOING THERE WITH MY CHILDREN AND GRANDCHILDREN. IT WAS ONE OF OUR HIGHLIGHTS DURING THEIR CHRISTMAS VACATION. WE REALLY SPENT SOME QUALITY TIME TOGETHER..ALOT OF LAUGHS. AND THE RESTAURANT THERE IS A PERFECT WAY TO END OUR AFTERNOON.

This is our favorite zoo in South Florida. It is smaller than many zoos and perfect for children. The new Florida Cracker Cabin and Mayan Temple exhibits are really well done. What a great way to exhibit animals with just the right ambience. Frequent visitors will notice less shade now because they lost many trees during the hurricanes of 2004.
