Discovering science is fun at this popular children's museum, with its stimulating permanent and traveling exhibits. Parents of little ones appreciate the Discovery Center, designed for kids younger than age 7. At other exhibits, kids can repair a satellite, blast off to the moon, learn about sound as they walk into a musical kaleidoscope or learn about Florida's ecosystem as they see, and sometimes, touch animals native to Florida. You can also take in a movie on the five-story screen at the IMAX theater in the museum, for an extra fee. Birthday parties are available. (April 26, 2005)
