With 2005 marking its 46th year, the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show is one of the premier boat shows in the world, with more than $1 billion worth of boats, yachts and accessories from every major marine manufacturer worldwide. See cabin cruisers, express cruisers, sailing yachts, motor yachts, catamarans, trawlers and even canoes. You can come to buy or just to browse. Held each October (delayed to November this year due to Hurricane Wilma), events take place at the Radisson Bahia Mar, the Broward County Convention Center, Marriott Portside Marina, Pier 66, the Swimming Hall of Fame and the Las Olas Marina.
