Wynwood's Nude Nite is all about the art. Really.

Nude Nite, an art show with artists and performers who celebrate the human body, takes off in Wynwood Nov. 9-11.

The exhibition runs from 6 p.m. to 11:59 p.m. each night at 2400 NW Fifth Ave. in the artsy Miami district.

There will be about 200 paintings, art installations and artists in and out of costumes or covered in body paint performing burlesque routines before attendees.

“Nude Nite is like Vegas meets (New York’s) Village,’’ said founder Kelly Stevens, an Alabama native who launched the event in 1997 to have a regular venue to present tasteful nude artwork for the public. “Nude art breaks the ice. It sparks conversation and laughter alike around a common entertaining theme.”

The Wynwood stop is the first time the annual pop-up event has been to South Floria. It’s previously has been held in Orlando and Tampa.

Organizers say that attendees can shoot photos without flash with their cell phones but no video. Also, handheld cameras are not allowed.

Tickets cost $25 to $30. And you must be at least 21 years old to enter.
