Halloween is almost here, and the weekend is filled to overflowing with kids events throughout South Florida.

Shriek Week, Spookyville and Boo at the Zoo continue this weekend in Palm Beach County, while Miami has the Zoo Boo, Frost Science Monster Mash and Miami Seaquarium Monster Splash. Broward has the Hollyweird Halloween Block Party, fall festivals in Margate and Tradewinds Park in Coconut Creek, and Booville in Pembroke Pines.

Hoot ‘N’ Howl, Friday. Bring kids in costume for not-so-scary Halloween games and crafts and to learn about nocturnal creatures such as owls, toads, snakes and spiders.
