Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath will bring their 20-city North American tour to the Cruzan Amphitheater in West Palm Beach on July 31. Now that’s a sentence we thought we’d never see again.
But, if you’re wondering if the 64-year-old Osbourne still has it, the New Zealand Herald review of a recent show answers in the affirmative: Osbourne “jumped and stomped about the stage with passion and energy to burn. Could he still cut it? Yes, he could…”
Still in front of one of the most influential bands of all time, regardless of genre, Osbourne will be joined by Black Sabbath originals Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler for enduring metal anthems such as “Iron Man,” “Paranoid” and “Psycho Man.” The trio also will offer songs from their forthcoming album, "13," due for release June 11.
Tickets for the North American dates on the tour go on sale May 3 at LiveNation.com and Ticketmaster.com. Prices for the Cruzan show (with Andrew W.K. the opener) are $25-$125. A presale begins at 10 a.m. May 2 on the Black Sabbath tour Facebook page.
