Brad Paisley to make summer stop in West Palm Beach

Like his most recent album, “Wheelhouse,” Brad Paisley is all over the map these days, and in August that will include the Cruzan Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach.

Tickets go on sale 10 a.m. Friday for Paisley’s Aug. 16 show at the Cruzan, which will include openers Randy Houser, Leah Turner and Charlie Worsham. Priced at $25 to $60.50, the tickets will be available at, all Ticketmaster outlets and at 800-745-3000.

The show will no doubt lean on songs from the ambitious “Wheelhouse,” which took detours into subjects including domestic abuse, religion and, perhaps most famously, race relations, with the LL Cool J collaboration "Accidental Racist." Recent set lists have included “Wheelhouse” songs “Southern Comfort Zone,” “The Mona Lisa,” “Outstanding in Our Field” and “Beat This Summer.”

The ever-personable Paisley, who just finished up the European leg of his tour, will turn up  Thursday night on CBS’s Robin Williams sitcom “The Crazy Ones” in an episode (also featuring singer Josh Groban) titled “Danny Chase Hates Brad Paisley.”
