Striking while the iron is caliente, reggaeton stars Don Omar and Nicky Jam, both recently named a finalist for major 2015 Billboard Latin Music Awards, are bringing their high-energy shows to Hard Rock Live on March 14.
Omar’s nomination for the 2015 Latin Billboard award for Latin Rhythm Songs Artist of the Year, Solo, continues more than a decade of success since his platinum-selling debut, 2003’s “The Last Don.” One of the most successful albums in the reggaeton genre, 2006 follow-up “King of Kings” won the Latin Billboard Award for Reggaeton Album of the Year.
His hit singles have included “Virtual Diva,” “Sexy Robotica” and “Hasta que salga el Sol,” which won the Latin Grammy for Best Urban Song in 2012. The 2012 album “MTO²: New Generation” won the Latin Grammy for Best Urban Music Album.
Reggaeton pioneer Nicky Jam has topped the charts with singles such as “Me Voy Pa'l Party,” “Chambonea,” and three Daddy Yankee collaborations: "En La Cama,” "Buscarte” and "Guayando.” Jam’s current single, “Travesuras," is nominated for a 2015 Billboard Latin Music Award for Latin Rhythm Song of the Year.
