Platinum-selling rap artists Drake and Migos will perform Sept. 21-22 at Miami’s AmericanAirlines Arena on their 41-city Aubrey and the Three Amigos Tour.
Tickets for the Miami shows will cost $55.50-$195.50 and go on sale 10 a.m. Friday, May 18, at all Ticketmaster outlets, including Ticketmaster.com and by calling 800-745-3000.
This will mark the first South Florida arena performance for Drake since he and Future crushed an adoring crowd at AmericanAirlines Arena in August 2016. (Hit the link for the Drake concert review.)
Drake, who has teased a June release for his highly anticipated album “Scorpion,” is riding as high as ever with the single “Nice for What,” paced by an irresistible sample from Lauryn Hill’s simmering soul ballad “Ex Factor” (remarkably 20 years old, but as fresh as ever).
Destined to be one of the songs of the summer, “Nice for What” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 last month, knocking from the top perch Drake’s own “God’s Plan.”
Drake (born Aubrey Drake Graham 31 years ago) has a feature on Migos’ "Walk It Talk It," a track from the Atlanta rap trio's “Culture II.”
The tour begins July 26 in Salt Lake City and concludes at Atlanta's Philips Arena Nov. 16-17.
