Ticket alert: Fleet Foxes at Fillmore Miami Beach

Seattle indie-rockers Fleet Foxes will bring a new leg of the tour supporting their long-in-gestation album “Crack-Up” to the Fillmore Miami Beach on March 4.

Tickets will cost $40.50-$59.50 and go on sale via Live Nation and the Fillmore box office at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 8. A LiveNation presale begins at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 6.

The date of the concert will be unfortunate news for those among the band’s fans who already may have purchased tickets for the 2018 Okeechobee Music and Arts Festival, where a lot of like-minded music will be heard March 1-4.

The 10 U.S. tour dates announced Tuesday include four in Florida, opening March 1 in Tampa and including stops March 2 in St. Augustine and March 3 in Orlando.

Fleet Foxes spent most of 2017 on a world tour that included sold-out shows at the Hollywood Bowl, Red Rocks Amphitheatre and multiple sellouts in Seattle and New York.

“Crack-Up,” released in June on Nonesuch Records, was the band’s first studio album since 2011’s “Helplessness Blues,” a hiatus that saw the departure of drummer Josh Tillman, now better known as Father John Misty.

The new album has been well received by fans and critics, including the New York Times, which calls it “a defiant artistic statement, an album that dares to feel important.”
