Three South Florida performances in a little more than six months apparently were not enough for John Legend, who will include a July 27 concert at Boca Raton’s Mizner Park Amphitheatre on a new slate of “All of Me” tour stops this summer.
The nine-time Grammy winner’s tour, named for his highest charting single ever, has generated strong reviews. Highlighted by a string quartet, Legend’s performance, seen at the Fillmore Miami Beach in November and at the Broward and Kravis centers in April, was called “one of the best concerts ever,” by Billboard magazine.
And the intimate outdoor confines of Mizner Park Amphitheatre ought to make this show especially rewarding.
"I've enjoyed this tour immensely,” Legend said in a press statement. “The opportunity to get up close and personal with my fans and tell my story has been so much fun for me. But I know many people weren't able to get tickets this spring. I'm looking forward to the tour this summer."
