Rock heavyweights Judas Priest, who release the album “Redeemer of Souls” on Tuesday, will bring their world tour to South Florida on Oct. 30 with a performance at Hard Rock Live at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood.
Tickets are $79, $69 and $59 (all reserved seats) and will be available via a presale 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Hard Rock’s Facebook, Twitter and Google+ pages. Tickets also will be available 10 a.m. Friday at all Ticketmaster outlets, MyHRL.com, and at 800-745-3000.
Judas Priest includes longtime collaborators Rob Halford and Glenn Tipton, founding bassist Ian Hill, veteran Priest drummer Scott Travis and young guitarist Richie Faulkner.
While the band is responsible for some of heavy metal's all¬time classic songs ("Living After Midnight," "Breaking the Law," "You've Got Another Thing Coming"), the tour will offer tunes from the new album, said to be an extra-heavy contrast to the sci-fi experimentation of 2008’s “Nostradamus.”
As Tipton recently told Rolling Stone: "Sometimes in the past we may have come under fire for being too adventurous musically – so we have listened. From start to finish, ‘Redeemer of Souls’ is 13 songs of pure classic Priest metal."
