Ticket alert: Moody Blues' Justin Hayward in Delray Beach

Justin Hayward will bring hits of the Moody Blues to the intimate confines of the Crest Theatre at Old School Square in Delray Beach on Feb. 16.

Tickets for the show will cost $50, $75 and $100 and go on sale 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 5, at AXS.com or by calling at 888-929-7849. For more information, visit OldSchoolSquare.org.

Hayward’s voice has been the defining instrument for more than 50 years of Moody Blues hits, which will constitute much of the set list on his All the Way In Concert tour. Frequent collaborator Mikes Dawes is a special guest.

Fusing strings and other orchestral elements with ambitious production techniques, the Moody Blues brought a theatricality to rock ’n’ roll, creating a prog-rock template with hits including “Nights in White Satin” and “Tuesday Afternoon” from the band’s seminal 1967 album “Days of Future Passed.”

Other hits destined to be heard in Delray Beach include the provocative Vietnam War-era hit “Question,” as well as “The Voice,” “I Know You’re Out There Somewhere,” “The Story in Your Eyes” and “Your Wildest Dreams.”

The tour takes its name from Hayward’s 2016 double-album collection of hits and favorite covers, “All the Way.”
