Lady Gaga cancels two South Florida concerts

If you find your favorite Madonna fan masking a slight grin, you now know why.

Lady Gaga has canceled the remainder of her Born This Way Ball tour, including performances March 15 at the BB&T Center in Sunrise and March 16 at AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami, after an examination of her gimpy right hip revealed a torn labrum.

A statement from promoter Live Nation Global Touring said that the injury would require surgery. Refunds are available now at point of purchase. Info: LiveNation.com.

Anyone who has seen the rival pop stars in concert has marveled at the impressive physicality, strength and endurance of both Gaga and Madonna.  The surprise here is that it is the 26-year-old Gaga who has put herself on the disabled list first. Madonna, 54, wins again.
