Lady Gaga to begin 2014 tour at BB&T Center

Lady Gaga will make up for canceling two South Florida concerts last March by starting her artRave: The ARTPOP Ball tour at the BB&T Center in Sunrise on May 4.

Tickets go on sale Dec. 16 at LiveNation.com. General-admission floor tickets will be $85, with reserved seating available for $35, $49.50, $85 and $200.

Members of Gaga’s fan club at LittleMonsters.com will have first access to tickets beginning at 2 p.m. today (Dec. 3). Members who RSVP to the event listing for the Sunrise show will get a code to order tickets online through 5 p.m. Thursday (Dec. 5). Limit four per member.

Last spring,  Lady Gaga canceled the remainder of her Born This Way Ball tour, including performances March 15 at the BB&T Center and March 16 at AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami, due to a torn labrum in her hip. She has since released the chart-topping album “ARTPOP,” featuring the monster hit "Applause," and her unique seven-night run set for New York’s historic Roseland March 28-April 7 was an immediate sell-out.

No news yet on whether Gaga will make up the Miami concert. While she has booked a few back-to-back concerts on the tour, a May 5 show would mean three performances in three nights (she plays Atlanta May 6). Which could ruin her hip all over again.
