R&B star Lauryn Hill and influential rapper Nas will bring their co-headlining tour to Miami’s Bayfront Park Amphitheatre on Sept. 22, accompanied by comedian Hannibal Buress and Jamaican reggae singer Chronixx.
Tickets go on sale 10 a.m. Friday, June 2, at LiveNation.com, with VIP and other presales beginning at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 31.
The September-October tour, set to hit 17 cities across the U.S. and Canada, comes more than 20 years since the two collaborated on the hit 1996 song "If I Ruled the World."
That song was from Brooklyn native Nas’ critically lauded album “It Was Written,” the follow-up to his iconic 1994 debut, “Illmatic,” which still forms one of the most powerful opening one-two punches in rap history. Hill, of course, went on to multiplatinum stardom with the Fugees and her 1998 solo album, “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill,” which brought her five Grammy Awards.
