Ticket alert: Maroon 5 at BB&T Center Feb. 24

Platinum-selling, Grammy-winning rockers Maroon 5, led by pop-culture ubiquity Adam Levine, will bring the world tour supporting  their cleverly titled fifth album, “V,” to the BB&T Center in Sunrise on Feb. 24.

Tickets, ranging from $25.25 to $120.75, go on sale 10 a.m. Sept. 13 at

Opening acts are Magic!, best known for the pop-reggae hit “Rude,” and Rozzi Crane, a Levine protege from his TV talent show “The Voice.”

Tuesday’s announcement of the 27-city North American leg of the tour, opening Feb. 16 in Dallas, coincides with a multiplatform media blitz:  A new single from “V,” “Animals,” was released as the follow-up to the top 10 smash “Maps,” and the band is scheduled to perform on “The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon” Tuesday night, on “America's Got Talent” Wednesday and on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” Sept. 8. Levine also will make a Thursday appearance with Jon Stewart on “The Daily Show.”

Presales will begin 10 a.m. Saturday for fan club members, and at 10 a.m.  Sept. 11 for users of the Live Nation mobile app.

Fans who purchase a ticket at will receive a digital download of "V."
