Jennifer Lopez, Neon Trees, Tiësto, Ariana Grande, Iggy Azalea and Lil Jon are among the big names announced Monday for the third annual iHeartRadio Ultimate Pool Party June 27-28 at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach resort.
Presented by the state tourism site VisitFlorida.com, the musical weekend getaway will be broadcast nationally on The CW network and emceed by the versatile host Nick Cannon. The concert is part of the Fontainebleau's eclectic BleauLive series, which will offer rap star Flo Rida on May 9.
The iHeartRadio concert schedule breaks down thusly: Former Boca Raton resident Ariana Grande, Iggy Azalea and Lil Jon do the opening-night welcome party, followed Saturday by an day-long DJ-fueled pool party culminating in a concert that night by Tiësto, Jennifer Lopez and Neon Trees.
Lopez’s performance no doubt will feature songs from her newest album, “A.K.A.,” due out June 17.
While a large contingent of locals attended last year’s iHeartRadio party, the show is primarily a tourism driver, and tickets are available only to resort guests.
"This event is a great way for Florida to connect with millennial travelers and showcase the fun destinations found around the Sunshine State," said Paul Phipps, Visit Florida chief marketing officer, in a press statement.
Packages start from $479 per night (minimum three-night stay required), which gets you two passes to the concerts, pool party and private BleauLive lounge, a swag bag and breakfast for two at Vida. Each additional guest is $100, and includes access to the lounge, daytime pool party and Saturday concert.
