The two most prominent exporters of a bilingual South Florida sound that has energized the mainstream pop charts for the past decade, Pitbull and Enrique Iglesias will join forces on a co-headlining summer tour including a June 23 stop at AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami.
Tickets are scheduled to go on sale 10 a.m. Friday, March 24, at LiveNation.com and at all Ticketmaster outlets, including Ticketmaster.com and by calling 800-745-3000. A series of fan-club and VIP presales will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
CNCO, the vocal group that won the 2015 Univision musical competition “La Banda,” will open the shows.
Pitbull released his 10th album, “Climate Change,” on Friday, along with the video for the single “Options,” featuring versatile reggae star Stephen Marley.
Iglesias released the single “Súbeme la Radio (Turn Up the Radio)” on Feb. 24, a song featuring Descemer Bueno and Zion y Lennox, with a video shot on the streets of Havana.
