“Saturday Night Live” funnymen Rob Schneider, Darrell Hammond, Chris Kattan and Finesse Mitchell will bring their Veterans of SNL tour to Seminole Casino Coconut Creek on Sept. 27.
Advance reserved-seat tickets will cost $40 and $60, or $200 if you want to spring for sofa seating, at all Ticketmaster outlets, including Ticketmaster.com and by calling 800-745-3000.
While they may be on your list of “SNL” second bananas, each of the four used the show as a springboard for a fruitful career.
Schneider won three Emmy Awards for writing on “SNL” and appeared on the NBC skit-comedy show 1990-’94, most memorably as copy-room guy Richard Laymer (“Makin’ copies!”). He spun that fame into films including “Deuce Bigalo,” “Grown Ups,” “Big Daddy” and “The Waterboy.”
Hammond was part of the “SNL” cast from 1995 to 2009, with a range of popular impressions, from Sean Connery to Bill Clinton and Donald Trump.
Kattan (“SNL” 1996-2003) had popular characters including Mango, Mr. Peepers and Doug Butabi, one half of the smooth-operating Butabi Brothers (with Will Ferrell) who starred in the 1998 cult film “Night at the Roxbury.” More recently, Kattan has appeared on the ABC hit “The Middle” and in the Adam Sandler films “Hotel Transylvania” and “The Ridiculous 6.”
A University of Miami graduate, Mitchell (“SNL” 2003-2006) is an actor and author who can be seen on Disney Channel hit “A.N.T. Farm” and in a soon-to-be-released one-hour comedy special.
