Two of the most iconic voices of the past four decades of rock music are on their way to South Florida as Stevie Nicks will hit the road this fall with Chrissie Hynde and the Pretenders, stopping at the BB&T Center in Sunrise on Nov. 4.
Tickets to the concert will cost $45.25-$145.75 and go on sale 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 12, at LiveNation.com, all Ticketmaster outlets, including Ticketmaster.com and at 800-745-3000. A series of presales begins 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7, at LiveNation.com.
The 27-city 24 Karat Gold Tour, named for Nicks’ 2014 album, “24 Karat Gold – Songs From the Vault,” kicks off Oct. 25 in Phoenix and includes a Nov. 2 stop in Tampa.
Nicks, who has won multiple Grammy Awards and sold more than 140 million albums as a solo act and as a member of Fleetwood Mac, last year completed a reunion tour with Fleetwood Mac that sold out 122 shows around the world.
Hynde and Pretenders have multiple pop-chart hits, including “Stand By You,” “Brass in Pocket,” “Back on the Chain Gang” and “Don’t Get Me Wrong,” but they can straight-out rock like few other bands of their time. Here’s hoping we hear “Tattooed Love Boys,” “Middle of the Road,” “Precious” and “My City Was Gone.”
