Nickelodeon TV star and former South Florida resident Victoria Justice will perform for a legion of local "Victorious" fans this summer after all: Justice’s summer tour, which now includes fellow TV music stars Big Time Rush, will stop at the Cruzan Amphitheatre near West Palm Beach on July 5.
The announcement, made on Ryan Seacrest’s syndicated radio show and at RyanSeacrest.com, comes about a week after Justice canceled an Aug. 17 tour stop at Mizner Park Amphitheater in Boca Raton.
The 40-city Summer Break tour will unite Justice with Big Time Rush singer Carlos Pena Jr., who grew up in Weston.
Tickets for the 7 p.m. show are $25-$65 and go on sale 10 a.m. Saturday at LiveNation.com, Ticketmaster outlets and 800-745-3000.
Justice was born in Hollywood 20 years ago and turned her acting and singing talents into wholesome roles on tween-oriented TV shows such as ‘iCarly,” “Zoey 101” and the lead character on “Victorious,” which won the Favorite TV Show trophy at the recent Kids Choice Awards.
Justice also starred in the Nickelodeon film “The Boy Who Cried Werewolf” and the feature film “Fun Size,” and a new album of pop music is due out this year.
