Morning-radio personality Paul Castronovo hosted a Super Bowl block party yesterday in downtown Fort Lauderdale, and photographer Jennifer Lett found scores of people watching the Philadelphia Eagles win and Justin Timberlake lose.

Ben Crandell reports that the annual Tortuga Music Festival has announced the daily schedule for its 2018 event, returning April 6-8 to Fort Lauderdale beach, with single-day tickets going on sale this week. April 7 is the day to go, if only to see Dwight Yoakam, the closest this year's Tortuga will get to traditional country music.

Christine Dolen reviews Palm Beach Dramaworks' production of "On Golden Pond," a play that premiered on Broadway in 1979 before becoming an Oscar-winning movie. While the play "continues to be a resonant study in love and regret," Dolen writes, this umpteenth take on the family drama runs a bit dry.
