From 7 to 11 p.m. every last Friday of the month. Little Havana's Calle Ocho becomes alive at the free street festival that features music, dancing and art. While you're there make sure to check out the locals playing dominoes in Domino park or visit the many Cuban-owned shops and restaurants, which sell authentic food, coffee, and hand-rolled cigars.
South Florida historian Dr. Paul George offers free walking tours starting at 7 p.m. The festival takes place between 13th and 17th Avenues and SW Eighth Street, Miami. Go to www.viernesculturales.org/mainvc/about-us/.
