Boston has its scenic Charles River, but we’re pretty sure Ray Allen is going enjoy his new water view much better.

The former Celtic and now Miami Heat basketball star has moved in a Coral Gables mansion worth $13.9 million. According to gossip columnist Jose Lambiet,  Allen’s new pad is a (uh, modest)  11,533 square foot home with a man-made silver of beach, complete with a view of the Biscayne Bay.

Word is Allen didn’t buy his new home – he’s renting it for $50,000 a month.  The sprawling estate also boasts 9 bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, a pool, elevators, spa, four-car garage and a guest house.
