Mario Chalmers' night on the town

Miami Heat champ Mario Chalmers took a break from playing B-ball when he hosted two parties in the Magic City Sunday night.

Around 9 p.m., Chalmers, along with his parents, attended an event sponsored by Michael Grieco of Grieco Law, in honor of the athlete. The event was sold out, and most fans bought their tickets at a discount online at City and Groupon.

As they waited for Chalmers at the Hilton Hotel in Downtown Miami, the eager guests sipped on cocktails and danced in the ballroom.

Chalmers mostly kept a low profile, and only stayed for an hour, but did manage to pose for some photos with Heat followers.

The party, a charity for the Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Greater Miami, was produced by LHB Innovation Group.

Later that night, sans his folks, Chalmers jetted off to Bamboo Nightclub in South Beach for a little R&R before he had to head back on the road with his fellow Heat players.
