"A Tribute to the Negro Baseball Leagues": Some of the finest hard-pitching, ball-smacking sluggers of the diamond are being memorialized in the African-American Research Library and Cultural Center's new exhibit. At bat to discuss the show - featuring a mountain of memorabilia spanning photos to posters, baseball jerseys and books - will be author and Society of American Baseball Research member Lou Hernandez, whose book "Memories of Winter Ball" includes interviews with American Negro League players. Also scheduled to speak is Ernest Sellers, nephew of Robert Lee Griffith, a pitcher with the Columbus Elite Giants, Philadelphia Stars, New York Black Yankees and other teams. 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.
