Elizabeth Smart: The kidnapping victim-turned-public-figure is the author of a new autobiography, "My Story," in which she chronicles being abducted at knifepoint by a religious fanatic and his wife in June 2002. Smart, held for nine months at a mountain campsite, endured sexual assault, abuse and malnutrition before manipulating her captors into moving her closer to home.
