Monday: So You Think You Can Sing? Karaoke Contest at the Dubliner Boca( Matt Dean/FPG / August 19, 2013 )
Monday's night of embarrassment for a good cause, better known as the third annual So You Think You Can Sing? karaoke contest, is looking for a few good belters to benefit the Hospice of Palm Beach County Foundation. Winners - perhaps, say, the duet who nails Ozzy Osbourne and Lita Ford's "Close My Eyes Forever" - will collect $250 and bragging rights.
The Hospice of Palm Beach County's Music Therapists will also perform at the event, running 6-9 p.m. at the Dubliner Boca (435 Plaza Real). $30, includes one drink, complimentary buffet and entry into the contest and raffle. $20 for noncontestants. Call Mary Coleman at 561-265-6042 or visit Hpbcf.org.
