Monday: "Dinosaurs in Motion" at Museum of Discovery and Science

The new exhibit at the Museum of Discovery and Science (401 SW Second St., Fort Lauderdale) offers the chance to manipulate the metal joints of 14 fearsome prehistoric creatures. The animatronic dino sculptures, crafted from recycled metals and inspired by actual fossils, can be moved using a lever-and-pulley system and via remote control, perhaps the perfect prank for a certain young sibling who misbehaves in the museum. The exhibit, which opened Sept. 26, will close Jan. 5. 10 a.m.-5 p.m. $12-$14. 954-467-6637 or
