Hyam Plutzik's "Horatio": The Betsy Hotel will combine drama and poetry when actor and director Nigel Maister delivers a reading of Hyam Plutzik’s poem “Horatio.” The poem, based on Shakespeare’s character Horatio, Hamlet’s best friend, was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize in Poetry in 1961. Plutzik, who died in 1962, is also the Betsy’s “muse,” and not least because he was hotel chairman Jonathan Plutzik’s father. 8 p.m. at 1440 Ocean Drive, in Miami Beach. 8 p.m. TheBetsyHotel.com. - Barbara Corbellini Duarte
