Miami City Ballet's "Program II See the Music": Dancers interpret musical notation using their bodies in the second program of the 28thseason of the Miami City Ballet. In these performances, two ballerinas re-create the moves of violin chords from George Balanchine's "Concerto Barocco" while others impersonate Catalan tales of people who pray for rain that never comes in "Jardí Tancat" by Spanish choreographer Nacho Duato. The program also includes Justin Peck's "Chutes and Ladders" and Alexei Ratmansky's "Symphonic Dances." Performances will take place Friday through Sunday at the Adrienne Arsht Center in Miami, Jan. 24-26 at the Broward Center in Fort Lauderdale, and Jan. 31-Feb. 2 at the Kravis Center in West Palm Beach. $20-$175.
