New exhibits at Art and Culture Center: Five new shows will open at the Art and Culture Center of Hollywood with a reception Thursday, including "Francie Bishop Good: Not on Allen Street," a photographic series drawn from moments of domestic life and Good's rearing in Bethlehem, Pa. Other shows include "Sarah Michelle Rupert: In Search of Ever After," a photo series combining fairy-tale characters with modern settings (e.g., Snow White in a kitchen); a series of drawings by Charles LaBelle; the neuroscience-inspired video installations of South Florida's Melissa Fredendall; and Samantha Brooks' Craigslist-inspired photo series, "1000 Missed Connections." 6-10 p.m. Thursday. $4-$10. 954-921-3274 or ArtandCultureCenter.org. — Phillip Valys
