Miami Book Fair:
Friday's a free day at the Miami Book Fair International, so expect vendors, musicians and authors vying to compete for your attention. Here are a few highlights: Miami's pop-up library outfit the Bookleggers will be on hand to shell out discounted literature from 6 to 8 p.m. at Bardot nightclub (3456 N. Miami Ave., Miami), located about 21/2 miles north of the fair action at Miami Dade College. Todd Zuniga's crowd-pleaser Literary Death Match will follow from 8 to 10 p.m. at Bardot ($10), were four boozed-up writers will face off in quick-fire battles armed with passages of literature. Should you choose to stick around the fair for celebrity-spotting instead, famed actor (and now-author) Anjelica Huston ("Prizzi's Honor," "The Addams Family") will discuss her new memoir, "A Story Lately Told: Coming of Age in Ireland, London, and New York," at 8 p.m. at the Chapman Conference Center (Building 3, second floor, Room 3210). $40. 305-237-3258 or MiamiBookFair.com
